Trademarks - Attorney Amir Friedman

In the year 1998 the first edition of the book "Trademarks" was published.

The book analyzes in depth and thorough manner the field of trademarks, the essence of trademarks, their commercial importance, the protection that is acquired as a result of the registration of trademarks, management of suits for trademark infringement and many additional aspects connected to the realm of trademarks.

Recently, the second addition of the book was published, including certain issues and aspects of the laws of trademarks, which are being presented for the first time and in a detailed manner for this edition. The new addition gathers within it the many and interesting laws, corrections of laws and the international treaties that have been added to the realm of trademarks in recent years.

The book "Trademarks" can be purchased from Perlstein Ginossar law book publishers. (For the website of Perlstein Ginossar Publishers, press here).

From the introduction to the first edition by Professor David Libai.

"The reader is presented with the organized teachings of attorney Amir Friedman on the essential laws and deliberations in the area of trademark law in Israel…Anyone who is interested at all in the laws of trademark, including the jurist, the attorney, and the student, will find in this book a guide to the laws that involve the protection of trademarks in all of its scope, including a detailed survey of the law and the adjudication".

From the introduction to the second edition by attorney Dan Mirkin

"Our Rabbis taught that "Wise men, as they grow older, their wisdom increases", (The Babylonian Talmud, Shabbat 152 A), and this is not only true of the wise men themselves, but also of their books. The new edition clarifies various issues from new and interesting points of view, and if the first edition was an excellent book for anyone in the field, then the second edition is even superior to it in its contents and in its writing. "A man is jealous of ever other man with the exception of his son and his student" (The Babylonian Talmud, Sanhedrin 105B) and I can only congratulate my former student on this excellent book that he has written."

The first edition of The Book of Trademarks in Hebrew is available online.
